Copper-Induced Fluorescence Quenching in a Bis[2-(2?-hydroxyphenyl)benzoxazole]pyridinium Derivative for Quantification of Cu2+ in Solution

چکیده

Accurate determination of Cu2+ in solution is crucial for preventing several disease conditions. Spectroscopy-based techniques metal ion detection are promising methods due to their excellent sensitivity and rapid response time. In this work, we reporting a newly synthesized 2-(2?-Hydroxyphenyl) benzoxazole-based compound, probe 2, by incorporating vinyl pyridinium segment into the bis(HBO) 4 system. Probe 2 exhibited specificity toward solution. The ratiometric absorbance (?440/?370) quenching fluorescence at ?em ?585 nm an linear correlation. formation 2-Cu complex can be utilized as highly sensitive spectroscopic method with limit 0.15 µM. addition, Cu2+-induced occurs mainly via static mechanism forming complex, stability constant was calculated based on measurements.

Fluorescence quenching in luminescent porous silicon nanoparticles for the detection of intracellular Cu2+.

After microwave-induced hydrosilylation reaction with 10-undecenoic acid, luminescent porous silicon nanoparticles (LPSiNPs) showed excellent fluorescence stability under physiological conditions. Fluorescence quenching in as-prepared LPSiNPs was highly sensitive with the concentration of Cu(2+) at μmol L(-1) level, which could be further applied to the detection of intracellular Cu(2+).
